Welcome
Our house is open to share with you all the beautifulness of Valparaiso.
We are a young couple that likes to share and meet with other cultures.
Come and meet us, we offer you a nice place where you can have a nice, secure and fun environment.
Casa Volantín is located on 526 Guillermo Rivera street in yungay hill, near from downtown.
We have a terrace with a beautiful view to the ocean, Internet, cable TV, barbecue, dvd, books etc.
All the fees include sheets and blanket, free access to the kitchen and Internet and shower with hot water.
Special prices for groups of 6 people or more.
We also offer additional services such us: laundry, food, tours, excursions, etc
Sightseeing Valparaiso
All the tours are lead by a Geographer and Environmental Master. All the tours start and finish in Casa Volantin hostel.
1.Alegre and Concepcion hill:
Walk along the two most famous and historical hills declared "Heritage Site for humanity" by UNESCO.
2. Paseo 21 de Mayo:
From this balcony you can appreciate the sea and the city. The miradors are the best locations to take a panoramic photograph and amuse yourself.
. NERUDA'S MUSEUM HOUSE "LA SEBASTIANA" and Cielo abierto museum:
Places to visit: Florida funicular, Pablo Neruda's house, Bellavista hill where the walls are painted by some of the most important Chilean artists like Matta and Toral.
Beaches, fishing boats and villa universitaria:
Places to visit: El Membrillo small port, Carvallo and Torpederas beach, Ruben Dario mirador, Universidad de Playa ancha, Universidad de Valparaiso, Alejo Barrios park, Chile deportes stadium.
Excursion:
La Campana National Park
New years:
Every year on 31st December, the city hall of Valparaiso offers a spectacular firework show in the bay. On that day all the hills, balconies, beaches, houses, looking on to the sea are crowded. While waiting for midnight, the whole city lives a celebration atmosphere. At 12 o'clock sharp, the fireworks begins and Valparaiso serves as a giant amphitheatre to the deeply of light and fantasy. After the traditional hug and exchange of best wishes for the New Year, the party begins. We offer you a special dinner for that day.

You can also take a bus that says "aduana" get off on Bellavista street walk up 3 blocks until plaza Ecuador and take a taxi number 41. • Walking: • Walk along subida Ecuador until you get to gulliermo Rivera Street always take you right walk for about 150 mts. You have to pass David Trumbull School and there you will find us. • Taxi (colectivo) on plazuela Ecuador take taxi number 41 and get off in front of huascar street, walk 10 mts and you will find us. • If you have any problem call us and we will pick you up with no additional cost. |
