Fourcy is a nice hostel that is cleaned daily and has good space. The location is great too -- just a few meters from St. Paul metro. Staff is helpful and friendly. There aren't lockers inside the rooms but the hostel does have some. You have to leave your luggage downstairs -- there's surveillance there and at the entrance door. The antique building is quite beautiful and the patio is especially pleasant.
There is a shower inside each room (the only problem was a weird door instead of a regular closed one). The toilets are located at the end of the corridor and are shared. If you want a quieter toilet, you can use the one on the ground floor. It's always empty and there's a hairdryer you can use for free. There isn't any elevator, so prepare yourself for a two-, three- or four-staircase walk.
They don't accept credit cards, and travelers' checks must have the exact amount for the rate, so either bring cash or some travelers checks and cash. Internet access is nice. Breakfast is OK -- it's in their own restaurant. Though a lot of people complain about it being only baguette, croissant, and juice or coffee, it was just fine.
