Arpacay Hostel is great. There are two buildings and each one has its own reception. One of them is open until midnight, which is great if you arrive very late to the city. If you arrive early you can also go and leave your luggage in a special room for no extra charge. The buildings are great -- they seem very new and the colors of the hostel are quite bright.
The rooms are fine with the space -- the beds are great and new and you have your own little locker (the staff gives you a padlock, which is also free). The common area is good -- each three rooms (with six beds each) has its own kitchen (which is nice), and a sofa with a little table. The kitchen has its own bowls and other kitchen stuff so you can prepare your food and you also have a refrigerator. The bath and WC per floor is common for eighteen people, which is not quite good because it is always in use. Also, all the water flows out of the bath, and it is kind of impersonal, however, it is clean.
In general the hostel is very clean, is rare to see something dirty. It is also is very quiet, which is great if you want to rest. The breakfast is very good compared with others -- juice, coffee, bread, ham, and cheese. There's free internet with five computers, which are enough. The location of the hostel is not very near downtown but it's near the underground station, which takes you downtown in about ten minutes minutes. It's in a nice zone and a nice place!
