Hunter Valley YHA is located at the gateway to the Hunter Valley Wine Country.
Situated on 26 acres of land, its the ideal place to relax and to get out in the vineyards and try the Hunter Valley wines.
The YHA is ideal for backpackers as well as other budget minded travellers and offers the following room breakdown:
* 2 x 8 share dorms (ie 4 double bunks)
* 4 x 4 share dorms (ie 2 double bunks)
* 4 x twin/double rooms
* 3 x twin/double rooms with ensuite
The location is fantastic in that it is close to the vineyards, to the town of Cessnock and only a short walk to Potters Brewery that offers meals, drinks and nightlife.
There are share bathrooms, a common area with kitchen facilities and internet, laundry, bbq's, wood fired pizza oven, swimming pool, sauna, and other sports activity areas.
The YHA also offers tours around the vineyard area in the Hunter Valley YHA bus this leaves the hostel at 11am and returns at 5pm. Contact the hostel for more details. Get out into the wineries, taste the wine, and local produce as well as meeting people and learning something about the wines.
