This is one of the Strahov college campus dorm buildings that serve as hostels during the summer. They generally offer single and double bed rooms with a bathroom on each floor. The location is a tram ride plus a short bus ride plus a couple blocks walking from the main part of the city. There are a couple clubs on campus within a block or two of the hostel.

I stayed in this Hostel in August 2003. Was in Prague for a week.
Anyway, this hostel is very, very basic but it's very cheap!! It's well used but it's also kept clean.
It's close to the trams to catch into the City Centre.
I'd definitely recommend this to travellers on a budget and who are not fussed with any major luxuries!

I really like this hostel; this summer I will return with my 20 friends from Holland to stay for about four days. Last year there was a very nice reception girl and a very nice guy. I hope they will be there this year! The only negative thing I can say is about the toilet paper: there wasn't any.
