Relax in our beautiful garden overlooking the sea. Walk up the path to our hilltop hideaway with stunning views. Nestled between the hills and the sea, our lovely coastal village has a hotel, restaurants,food stores,fresh fish caravan, art gallery and several bookshops. Wander sandy beaches, swim, collect mussels, play in the waves on boogie boards, watch spectacular sunsets.In the winter watch wild seas from in front of the log burner in the cosy living room. Meet our friendly animals. There are rooms with seaviews, own bathroom and private deck. We can arrange boat trips to Kapiti Island.There is free parking on the street, and you can forget the car. The hostel is only a few minutes walk from the shops or to the beach, or the park. Take the half hourly train into the city, and avoid hassles with traffic and parking.Paekakariki is your holiday within a holiday.......

| Località | Paekakariki is a small coastal village 40 kilometres north of Wellington on State Highway one. There are several restaurants, a grocery store, art gallery and hotel in the village. The backpackers is less than one minutes walk from the centre on top of a small hill.There are panoramic seaviews from the hostel which is nestled between the hills and the sea. The sunsets are famous. Half hourly trains go to and from Wellington - the station is two minutes walk from the hostel. Parking is free on the street and many people find it easier and cheaper to go to the city by train.There is a long sandy beach and free boogie boards are available. |
