A guesthouse/catholic school, St. Michael-Heim has a very clean and tidy atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and neat. Sheets are provided in the 17 euros a night, but towels are not. The free breakfast is very extensive and tastes great. The location is one of the quirks as it is very far from the Berlin city center. You must walk about 5 minutes, get on a bus and ride for about 10 minutes, and then take the subway to the city center. Not very convenient if you plan on staying out late.
The price is excellent considering the quality of the rooms and food. The staff is very friendly, and will gladly give you directions.
