Our beautiful Westcoast-chalet house and Mountain Biking Club is situated on 2 rural acres in the picturesque Cowichan Valley. Located in the center of Southern Vancouver Island, it's less than one hours drive from anything you might want to do, and makes a economical launch pad for any island adventure!
Between the warm crystal waters of the Cowichan River and the surrounding Ocean, our immediated area provides a variety of eco-adventures and activities for the skilled and unskilled active traveler: from mountain biking, hiking, swimming, river tubing and snorkeling, canoeing, kayaking, whale watching, fishing, paragliding, 4X4 ATV'ing, etc. to simply relaxing in the sunny, fresh and natural setting.
We call ourselves "hostel style", since we are economical, and have a relaxed, casual environment; but, we are far from basic, check our facilities list!
To keep our place clean and safe, we do NOT provide a common kitchen; instead, we home-cook veggie-friendly world-fusion meals with local produce & meats, and guests can, if they like, choose to dine with us. An elaborate continental-style breakfast comes with all accommodations, and usually includes bagels, cereals, fruit, toast, cheese and various spreads, coffee & tea.
For our guests we provide:
2 Private Queen-Size rooms with cedar walls & large windows overlooking the gardens, $76/for 2 including breakfast
The Bunkhouse: mixed dorm, quaint outbuilding with two double bunks, and 4 single bunks, $32 each person/including breakfast
The BabyBus: private triple (can sleep up to 5) funky camper- schoolbus $105/for three and $15 each additional (3 single beds, 1 double)includes breakfast
The BigBus: private quad (can sleep up to 7) very funky art-car style camper-schoolbus $120/for 4 and $15 each additional person (2 doubles & 3 singles) includes breakfast
