Tucked away at the end of a typical dirt road, Hamburg is an enchanting village that offers miles of wild beach and a twinkling Milky Way that traffic-jams the sky at night.
In that unspoilt scenery, a restaurant and a pub make life easy and friendly. Amazing shopping can be done in the nearby Xhosa arts and crafts community shop.
The charming OYSTER LODGE now Gaby's Lodge is set in a beautiful garden overlooking Keiskamma River. It offers accommodation, B&B (book in advance), braai (African BBQ) and meal facilities, lots of tips for daily activities, and a very welcoming staff !
Please remember that Hamburg is a typical South African village with all its charm and inconvenient quirks. You will need to have cash with you as it is not possible to pay by credit card or cheque.
