Bontour Hostel

Our family of five stayed here for four nights in June. It was not my favorite of the hostels we stayed in but a lot of the other travellers staying commented to us on how clean it was compared to other Prague hostels so perhaps Prague just isn't that clean when it comes to hostels. The hostel was clean but there were two showers in this place and one had a slow drain so that you ended up taking your shower in a pond if you know what I mean. The other shower drained well so we used that one. There were also only three toilets for everyone who stayed here. There was a shared kitchen -- very small but it did have a fridge and a sink with few cutlery items and a table. The rooms were fairly decent but there wasn't air conditioning and you couldn't leave your windows open at night because the noise was so loud and never let up --traffic, people, everything! On the plus side the lady who runs the hostel is very nice and seems to want to improve the place. She isn't there all the time though only until about six p.m. which can cause some problems. I would not want to stay here again but it wasn't the worst place ever either.
