We are located off the Highway 140 above the Merced River Wild & Scenic Area into Yosemite Valley's west gate 25 miles away. We overlook a beautiful hillside forested canyon with trails, swimming hole and views. The Bug offers a range of accommodations from dorm to private rooms and full services including a health spa, a restaurant & guest kitchen, meeting & group space, and tours.
We serve fresh California foods from steak to vegan in our bistro-style Cafe with beer on tap and backpacker specials. Our guest kitchen is fully set up for your use with grills outside as well. Our Health Spa is also in the Lodge & offers a yoga, sauna, hydrogen peroxide hot tub, herbal baths and deck views. The Yosemite Bug Bus Tours offers 2 day 2 night tours from San Francisco and day tour from the Bug that is designed for the active backpacker crowd and it is all inclusive. You will find public transit stops here and driving is easy and parking is free. Out Front office offers everything from ATM to snowshoe rentals and Yosemite books. They can help you make a good itinerary for Yosemite during your stay here.
