All Nations Motel is not to be mistaken for the cheap and dirty All Nations located in Melbourne CBD. All Nations Motel is located in the heart of St. Kilda, within easy access of the beach, Coles Supermarket, and the vibrant town centre -- clustered full of charming cake shops and eateries. All Nations Motel is easy to find, located on Carlise Street.
Checking in is a formality and the staff are helpful and nice. All Nations have four-bed, six-bed, and ten-bed dorms, as well as double rooms. Four-bed dorms have en-suite facilities and a TV. Six-bed and ten-bed rooms have en-suite, but no TV. The rooms are slightly cramped, especially the larger dorms, however there is something charming about the hostel. In the dorms, the bunks creak, but don't they all! The rooms are clean and have plenty of power sockets for everyone to share. The bathroom is clean and there is a large shower which works, which is a first!
The kitchen area is large and caters to all a traveler needs to prepare his own food. Located next to the kitchen is the TV and internet area. The TV area is a fair size, with two sofas and three bean-bag seats. The kitchen and TV area are very clean. All Nations offers free internet and wireless -- however, the server can be temperamental. But in general the internet is high-speed. Located next to the kitchen area is a large outside seating and BBQ area.
All Nations Motel offers comfortable accommodation at good prices in a nice area, and it has little perks such as free internet, wireless, free bike hire, and tour booking facility. The only flaw, which the hostel can't do anything about, is the busy road outside! Overall, it's a good value, budget hostel, located well in the charming town of St. Kilda.
