Our hostel is located app. 10 km outside the city centre of Alta, in peaceful forrest surroundings.
Please note that it might be difficult to reach us without your own means of transportation.
Just outside the door our guests will find walking paths and lakes where it is possible to fish and swim in summer and just 5 minutes walk away you have the beautiful Alta Fjord where it is perfect to see the Midnight Sun during summer months.
In the winter, the paths transform to a winter wonderland perfect for skiing and icefishing as well as watching the Northern Lights.
Our hostel is perfect as a base for exploring the other parts of Western Finnmark, with Hammerfest and North Cape within a few hours reach.
Inside the hostel it is a friendly atmosphere with young and old mixed together. We have an open restaurant most of the year and bar for enjoying a quiet. Everything is all new, fresh and clean as we refurbished most of the hostel during 2007.

| Località | •Located app. 10 km south of Alta City Centre in a forest area close to walking/ski paths and lakes. • If arriving from the south, please look for the hostel in the right hand side of the E6 before you arrive in Alta. (By bus just ask the busdriver to stop). From the north drive through the city centre and look for it on the left hand side of the road. From airport or bus station, look for the bus to Øksfjord or book transportation in advance. It is also possible to take a taxi. |
