Huon Valley Backpackers is set on 15 acres overlooking the beautiful Huon River, Huon Valley and Hartz Mountains Nat. Park.
Only a 30 minute drive fom Hobart and centrally located to explore the South. Fish for Trout, enjoy the rapids in a Jet boat ride, relax on the beach, hike the mountains or bushwalk the southern forests.
Vineyards, woodturners, wildlife, crafts and antiques, great restaurants with wonderful Tasmanian produce, friendly people and amazing scenery await you. Tassie offers so much more - you'll love this place!
We offer a freindly, family atmosphere and have a range of accommodation, 4 bed dorms, twins, doubles, and 2 bedroom family ensuite units. Shared bathroom facilities.
Our large open plan kitchen is fully equipt, the lounge / dining area leed out to the sun deck and take in the magnificent valley views. There is a seperate TV lounge and games room.
Plenty of outdoor spaces and a great BBQ area.Essentials shop and cafe. Tours to local attractions.
We organise work between Nov - May.
Camping is also available.
