Descrizione
We are a small independant hostel on a beautiful island within 2 hours travelling from Brisbane .The hostel has units which have a double room, 6 dorm beds , a kitchen and a bathroom. Therefore a maximum of 8 people per unit .
The hostel is set amongst native trees and is very private . A multitude of wild life lives around the building and within easy walking distance there is the possibility to view dolphins , turtles , manta rays and ( in season ) humpback whales .
We provide bed linen , boogie boards and snorkelling gear for free .
Internet access is available between the hours of 10 am and 1 pm , and again from 3.30 pm to 6 pm.The cost is $3.00 for 1/2 an hour , $6.00 per hour .
While we don't have lockers , there is locked stowage for all items that you might need to secure ( wallets , passports , cash etc ). As we are on a small island with few people , theft is not a major problem .
Main Beach is a favorite spot for both local and international surfers . We have several surfers living here who have either competed on the international circuit or are still competing
If you wish to enjoy a laid back , quiet time of beach , beach and more beach then this is the place for you .
There are four wheel drive tours provided by operators on the island .These are a reasonable price and can be booked through the hostel . All operators are locals who have vast local knowledge of the island .
