This hostel has a great location on Argyle Street with the subway only about a minute away. It is a little tricky to find as the entrance is not actually on Argyle Street, but on the right side of the building. It will be the first doorway and is quite easy to walk right past as it is small and has no markings.
The owners are a very nice husband and wife from Vietnam. They know virtually no English, but do speak French. They were very helpful and the language was not really a barrier.
When we were there we did not meet any other foreigners and we got the feeling that not many stay there. You will not find brochures for all the tourist traps and there will not be a keg party on Saturday nights but if you are looking for a clean and quiet place to stay, the Dragon Hostel is a good choice.
