La Mariposa Azul is a backpacker’s refuge that provides outstanding features for your convenience. It also has many amenities such as cooking facilities with all utensils, a comfortable TV and entertainment lounge and available phone. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and there is a small courtyard area in back. Surely you will make new friends among the international clientele. You will truly feel like this is your home away from home.
The bunkhouse style sleeping facilities feature comfortable beds in a light, airy environment and there are beds for over 30 guests.
The English speaking staff are very helpful, and are happy to answer all of your questions about Costa Rica. They are Costa Rican travel professionals and can arrange tours, transportation, and lodging in other parts of the country. This Hostel is owned by Costa Ricans and is run it by the owners.
