For an HI hostel, this place is quite nice. It's about a 10 minute walk from the train/bus station and another 10 to the town center. The reception is open 24 hours and the owners are nice (assuming they understand what you are asking). Internet is free if you wait to get on it. There is no real common room, though there are benches outside and a basketball court. Apparently, the buildings are student dormitories during the school year. Use your ISIC card if you don't have an HI card.
One of the best things about this hostel are the rooms. Although the floors are creaky, the dorm rooms (4 beds) are huge, with high ceilings, tables, no bunks, and free lockers. The cleaning staff is one of the best and bathrooms (mixed-sex) are nice. Breakfast is free and, while not expansive in options, is also unlimited. Stock up for lunch. There aren't really any downsides to this hostel. Not really a place you'll hang out in or remember later on, but definitely above adequate.
