Very good
Excellent location and good price. Despite the size of the room, which was good for two, we found it comfortable. The most important was the employees, the personnel were great. Front desk personnel outstanding. All the tips they gave us were outstanding and the help coordinating sightseeing Rome was wonderful. Undoubtedly a great buy.

What a great hostel.
This hostel was perfect. It has a great location, very clean room with our own bathroom. You also have easy access to the train station so you can travel in and out of Rome as you like. The staff is very friendly and speak english very well. The owner of the property is excellent too and always willing to help with questions and point you in the right direction. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this place!

Well, where to begin? We stayed at Hotel Lella in one of the dorm rooms (six beds). The room itself was satisfactory although very loud because its on a busy road. However, the bathroom was disgusting, thats right, bathroom, one shower/toilet for the whole floor (six dorm rooms), which had a very small hot water tank. Only the lucky few who got the first showers had hot water. Also, for some reason they had removed the handle off the shower tap, so you couldnt adjust the temperature. You either got scalding hot (if you were first in queue), but more commonly freezing cold. The bathroom smelled awful, and was cleaned once a day (by cleaned I mean mopped and thats it), so the floor was gross after the first persons shower and for the rest of the day. The staff were very unaccommodating, and despite their claim of speaking multiple languages, they couldnt speak a word of English. You were asked to pay in advance, we stayed four nights, so once we paid we had no choice but to stay the whole time, we wanted to leave after one night. The lobby is deceiving, it looks like that of a three-star hotel. The facilities are not those of a three-star hotel. Not recommended.

I stayed at this hostel in February and it really, really stunk! I backpacked all over Europe and when my friends and I got to this place we were very disappointed! The Web site says hotel, well, it's a hostel with a few hotel rooms. Not all rooms have a private bath. The bathroom in our room was nasty! It didn't look like it had been cleaned in years! We didn't stay there for more than one night. We had no other place to go the first day, so we just stuck it out. We met another couple who was there and they actually left with us to go to another hotel because they had their stuff stolen while they were out sightseeing! Not a nice place to stay!! Stay away! Don't cheap out, stay at a HOTEL!!! This is not a hotel, it is a hostel, don't be fooled!

Don't use this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay. We spent Easter there. We had booked a two-bed private room. Yes, we had it private but when we arrived, the staff lady said we have to change the room on the next morning, because we hadn't booked en suite and this was en suite. And what an en suite was that!? One small room, 3 x 3 square meters and a bathroom with no door! The room we had booked had no bathroom, she said. That is why she required us to change the room the next morning. We booked the room just because the hotel description said that all rooms have a bathroom, but no, they didn't! We negotiated to have the "en suite" with a bathroom for the whole holiday, so we even had a toilet of our own, even with no door. The hotel description also said that all rooms have a mini-bar, but no they don't! We were tired from our trip when we arrived and very thirsty. When we got to the room, there was nothing to drink, so immediately we had to go to hunt for something to drink. By the way, there are very few shops in the vicinity. The hotel description promised a continental breakfast, which was one cup of coffee and one very small croissant, nothing else. That was served in the rooms, yes, if you just asked them to bring it every morning. The staff were anything but international, and their English skills were just awful. The hotel description promised "credit cards accepted." When we were paying for the room, they wanted it to be in cash. I wonder why? In every way their description on the Internet was SO much better than the hotel really was. We don't recommend this hotel. It seems much nicer in the pictures on the Internet also, but I wonder, where they did they take the pictures?

Out of all the hostels and hotels we stayed in this summer (which was a lot), this had to be the worst by far!! I have never come across such false advertising. We booked a private double en suite room, which, as they say, should include breakfast, but we never received breakfast once. This hostel claims the staff are internationally speaking, but they could not speak a word of English. We asked about the air conditioning and they said it was broken, yet there was no vent in our room for the air conditioning in the first place. Although advertised, there was also no telephone and no safety deposit box. The fridge was moldy and there was no plug on it. If this wasn't enough, all of the sockets were hanging loose and there was an ant and earwig problem in the bathroom. Absolutely disgraceful. Don't go here, it may ruin your trip!!!

Creepy! My friend and I booked three nights, but only stayed for one because it was so creepy. The reception woman was sloppy and strange, and very hard to speak to. We booked a dorm room, but they overbooked so she gave us a double, and tried to charge us the price for a double. We got out of it, but it wasn't nice. The rooms are okay, and there are bathrooms in the doubles (with bidets, whoopee.) But it was a really eerie feeling for us, and my friend had nightmares about being killed in the night by the creepy reception woman. I don't recommend it if you are creeped out easily, which we are not.

They should NOT advertise as a hotel. This is primarily a hostel with a FEW hotel rooms. The ad on the Web site is deceiving and very deceptive. Each room does not have its own bathroom. We made our reservations via the Internet. Based upon the pictures and the description, it appeared to be a nice hotel for our family. We have two children and were asked to split up our family into separate rooms. They woke up a group of five college-age girls in the middle of the night to share their room. They were very upset to be woken up at midnight, plus, they, too, were told there was one bathroom for every room. They also thought the accommodations for the five of them were in one big room. They even had a receipt to indicate so. We did not stay here. Once we lugged our bags up three floors to find out it was a hostel, and there was one dirty bathroom per floor, we went down the block to another hotel. They only refunded our money for one night, and we were only there 30 minutes, most of which was spent arguing about the facts, of this place. If you want a hostel, then this might be the place for you. I think it's wrong for this establishment to deceive you into thinking it's a nice hotel.
