Get to know Prague (no more

Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating cities in Europe, and has emerged as one of the top destinations in the continent. Its beauty, along with its great location within Europe, makes Prague a easy spot for those who intend to visit the region.

The first important thing when planning a trip to Prague is making sure you stay at a good district, and District 1, which includes Old Town (Stare mesto) and the Castle, is definitely your choice. It doesn't mean that choosing others will make you trip worse, but being close to the main sites facilitates your visit. Any Prague hostel within District 1 is a good choice in terms of location.

A descent visit to Prague would take a couple days, and exploring its medieval streets and buildings is a great experience for every type of traveler. The main sites include the Castle, the Old Town Square, the Wenceslas Square, the Jewish Quarter, the Charles Bridge, the Dancing House, and the Kafka Museum. In addition, those looking for a good nightlife can find in Prague some of the top clubs in Central Europe -- the most famous one, Karlove Lazne, is a five-story club located in the heart of the city, and a must-do for party lovers.

As the Old Town is relatively small, and the main attractions are located within it, getting around is easy and be done by foot. If public transport is needed, Prague Metro is small and efficient, and very cheap for European standards, and the tickets must be validated before being used.

Prices in Prague are another plus. Eating out should be extremely affordable. The official currency is the Koruna. Euro is accepted in many sites, but the conversion charged is not worth it. Doing it at a official currency exchange, and using only Korunas while in Prague, is a better option.

So, if you are a traveler and are looking for a great experience in Europe, you do not want to miss Prague. The capital of the Czech Republic is now a consolidated destination, and even a short trip proves why. Start packing and don't forget to include it on your next trip.
