Hostel Skippy is a beautiful 200-year-old house located along the Vltava River in historical Cesky Krumlov. It's just a short walk (5-7 minutes) from the center of town as well as beautiful forest trails. It's warm, cozy, charming, full of art, fantastic music, and creative energy.
We have a large terrace, a great kitchen, and comfortable rooms. Our terrace overlooks the river and serves as a great place for you to relax and take in the incredible views. It has built in chess tables and many areas to sit and enjoy the river, a book, coffee, tea, a beer, drawing, or fellow travellers.
Our 200-year-old kitchen is absolutely charming, fully stocked, and just waiting for you to prepare fabulous meals.
Upon arrival we will give you a map of the town and helpful tips about where to eat, drink, and have a great time. We will also be happy to assist you with bike rentals, boat rentals, horseback riding or arranging a massage... And if you're interested in day trips to nearby towns or into the forest, just ask us and we'll take care of the rest. We're quite small so getting to know our guests is part of the fun and helping you experience cesky krumlov to the fullest is our pleasure.
You can expect to find a very special atmosphere at Hostel Skippy so plan to stay a while and get the most out of this charming town.

Location
• Located along the river...
• If you arrive by BUS: get off at the the final stop. You will be at the main bus station. Walk downhill toward the main road and make a left at the gas station. The castle tower should now be on your right hand side. Keep walking down this road. You will pass 2 traffic signals, then continue on the main road downhill until you get to the bridge that crosses over the river. Cross the bridge and immediately turn to the right. You will be just a couple of minutes from the hostel. Walk through the parking area and continue forward with the river on your right side. Our building is the fifth on the right side... slightly below street level. It should take about 10 or 15 minutes from the station.
• If you arrive by TRAIN: it is best to take a taxi to town because it's quite far. If you call us upon arrival we can order one for you. However, if you want to walk down just look on the wall at the train station for our map with directions. We also have flyers available to make it easy to find us.
