Vous y rendre / Nos coordonnéesWith a 15-minute walk or 10 to 15 minutes by public transport, the Gellért Hill , the Tabán, Buda castle and other national monuments and places of interest to tourists can be reached. But you need not travel to the Gellért, Rudas and Rácz thermal baths. At the end of the street you can find a park, the Bottomless Lake with a playground in the area and a restaurant overlooking the lake.Tennis courts, dog walks and St. Imre's Church are also found here. Shopping doesn't pose a problem because numerous stores can be found and, after all, there is the Buda Skala shopping centre and the Lágymányosi supermarket just two steps away from the Karat Hostel.
House Services:
• The bed linens and towels are changed, maximum every 3 days (more often if one wishes it).
• Cleaning and waste removed daily.
• We provide baby beds if previously requested.
• The telephone and fax are included.
• Internet connection included in the house charge. (network terminal.)
• Secure luggage storage included.
• Parking around the perimeter of the Hostel is without charge.
• Your host is available between 9a.m.-12p.m. and 4-8 p.m. and also by previously agreed appointment on your day of arrival.
• We can assure personal conveyance between the Hostel and the railway stations or the airport if previously requested.

About the rooms:
The rooms on the first floor of the building stand ready for our guests: entry hall and lounge,
terrace overlooking the garden with garden furniture. Fully-equipped kitchen with built-in furniture. Washing machine and ironing facilities.
Room # 1 is 28 square meters, has its own private bath and can accept 4 to 5 adults.
Room # 2 is 27 square meters with a shared bath and can accept 3 to 4 adults.
Room # 3 is 19 square meters with a shared bath and can accept a maximum of 3 to 4 adults.
We furnished our rooms for the relaxation and comfort of our guests. Every room is equipped with radio, colored television, an alarm clock and carefully chosen beds to provide comfortable sleep.
The bathrooms and English toilets with hot and cold water are also fully equipped with fine quality tubs and mirrors and there can be conveniently found wardrobes, clotheslines, towelracks, bathmats, and all the other objects which are indispensable for comfort and hygiene.
In the kitchen, a double sink, electric and gas combination cooker, exhaust fan, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, cooking pots and pans, dishes, flatware and tableware are available for our guests. The kitchen is condusive for meals.
Hostel
We're waiting for our dear guests who need only a bed to have a rest in our hostel on the top floor of our guesthouse. Here we can assure accomodation in altogether 8 single beds in a twinroom with a fully equipped teakitchen and a comfortable bathroom with shower. We also can provide 4 beds ont he first floor of our guesthouse with bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Cable TV and Wi-fi acces is available.
