The Hotel Tropicana San Francisco

Colorful and bright mosaics, Hawaiian fabrics, Chinese bamboo, palm trees and beautiful vintage art adorn the hotel, making for a most unique experience.

The hotel consists of 40 guestrooms featuring single and double beds, refrigerators and microwaves in each room, cable TV+ HBO, private bathrooms with full tubs and showers, FREE high speed internet access in selected rooms, and electronic locks. There are 3 rooms with bay windows overlooking Valencia Street.

Services and amenities include FREE High speed wireless internet access in selected rooms, turndown service, Cable TV + HBO and Microwave/Fridge in every room. We also have a computer in our lobby for guests to use to surf the internet 24 hours a day.
All guests can use this computer for FREE.

We are located in the heart of the beautiful Mission District on Valencia Street, dubbed "Restaurant Row" featuring over 30 restaurants and bars in a 3 block stretch between 16th & 19th Streets.

If you like to party, shop, or just hang out, Valencia Street with the hippest clubs and coolest restaurants and a plethora of eclectic home furnishing and clothing stores is your best bet.

Downtown, Union Square, The Financial District, Moscone Convention Center, Chinatown, North Beach, Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge are all within a short 10 minute drive.
