The view of the sea embraces from Palermo to Cefalù until the high chain of Nebrodi and that over mountains reaches from Mount Pellegrino (Palermo) to the inner mountains of Sicily, the magnificent tops of Madonie (alt. m 2000), looking at the hills, the rocky promontories and the green valleys of Bagheria and Santa Flavia too. On these panoramic luxuriant hills of Bagheria you can admire a lot of beautiful eighteenth - century villas built by the best Sicilian nobility.
The main Villa, planned by arch. Armò, was erected in the beginning of the last century by Domenico Paladino, famous Florio's cousin and nephew of the builder of the Royal Hunting Palace of King Ferdinando IV Borbone at Ficuzza's wood (Palermo). It is the meeting's centre of the International Institute for Advanced Studies of Space Representation Sciences, which is intended at the activities which are performed.

If you haven't a car,you can easily go sightseeing Palermo, Cefalù, and many other places thanks to the nearest train Station of Santa Flavia or the Bus Station of Bagheria: pullmans and trains leave each hour and are very cheap and convenient means of transport.
