Abergavenny Auberge de Jeunesses(Montmouthshire)     "Black Sheep Backpakers is a nice hostel and if you are arriving by train, it's handily located right across from the station. Look for the big white building that says "The Great Western Hotel." The hostel sign is less obvious. It's about a fifteen-minute walk from the center of the town, but the hostel also has a pub -- which is nice if you don't feel like trekking around looking for something to do in the evening.

"Capel-y-Ffin Youth hostel is on a converted farm in Black Mountain's Llanthony Valley, in the north-east of Brecon Beacons National Park. It is the highest youth hostel in England and Wales and it really is in the middle of nowhere. To get there you really need to drive, unless you are walking the long-distance Offa's Dyke footpath, or cycling on of the many routes in the area.
