Oahu Auberge de Jeunesses(Honolulu)     "This hostel has a fun and relaxed vibe, perfectly fitting for a laid-back beach holiday in the heart of a bustling tourist mecca.
The Location
By far and away the best feature of this hostel is the location. Dwarfed in all directions by hotel accommodation at four times the price, the hostel is located one street back from Kalakaua Avenue, the main beach road that hugs the world famous...(Honolulu)  "Accommodation is expensive in Waikiki -- one of the cheapest hostels is the Polynesian Hostel Beach Club. Located on Lemon Rd, it's next to three other well known budget accommodations. The location is awesome -- barely a block from the famous Waikiki Beach. There's also an ABC shop close by, great for self-catering options.
The building is showing its age, but is generally clean and tidy...(Honolulu, Waikiki)   "The Waikiki HI is centrally located and close to the bus routes and beach. It is an older three-story greenish building with tight security on a fairly quiet street. Check-in is upstairs. There is no elevator, but there are stairs. A key deposit is required for the key.
The rooms are clean (with fans) and have shelves to store your stuff. They also provide small lockers in the room for...(Haleiwa)  "I highly recommend this place! The owners are super nice! It's $30 US a night for the shared four-bunk room and more for private rooms, but it's MUCH cleaner and nicer than other hostels. It has spacious, bright rooms, and an AMAZING garden surrounds the deck and courtyards. It's very quiet; the ocean sounds like it's crashing at your window (but not too loudly!) It's about an hour's walk...(Honolulu)  "Seaside Hawaiian Hostel is centrally located in Waikiki. Take any Waikiki bus and get off at Kuhio and Seaside. The bus stops in front of the Trade Center. Cross Kuhio and stay on the righthand side of Seaside. The Seaside Hostel sign is on a yellow surfboard about 200 metres from the corner.
The hostel offers male, female and co-ed dorms. The dorms have six bunkbeds, their own bathroom...(Haleiwa) "Enter TextOur hostel/vacation rental is located in the center of the 7 mile wonder of the North Shore of Oahu. We are directly across from a beach called Sharks Cove which is walking..."Each is fully furnished room has either a Queen sleeper which pulls out or a Queen Bed. Each room has free Long Distance to the Mainland. Free Cable, some rooms have three TV's, free Wireless internet. Each room has it's own brand new A/C unit, plus a top of the line Ceiling fan/light. It is one of the properties in a quiet residential neighborhood, comprised of several rather old buildings. One newer building has private rooms and houses Japanese exchange students. The bus stops in front of the hostel and the name appears on the screen in the bus. The Backpacker bus also picks guests up when they make prior arrangements. There are airport and hostel pick-ups and drop-offs around noon. Guests with rented cars could park at all three locations (Beach House, Main House, and Plantation Village). Kam Highway is a...(Haleiwa) "This place was fun, but run down. The cabins were really cool - 6 people in each. It reminded me of camp - wooden bunk beds & only somewhat clean.
