Palma de Mallorca Auberge de Jeunesses    "Although this hostel has a very good reputation, and it is very cheap by Mallorca standards, it is desperately in need of a re-vamping. Apparently the upper floors are drastically more attractive than the dorms, which are located on the second floor. Also, they only clean the shared baths (at least on the dorm floor) once a week, and it shows.
The dorm rooms themselves are nice if you have one facing the front of the building, but if you are unlucky enough to be stuck in the back or... "clean, secure, great staff, location ok, full of young people having a good time, little bit noisy but on the whole good value" … "Brand new, recently opened Hostel located in central Palma. Accommodation consists of 1&2bed en-suite flatlets with own kitchenette/diner/lounge. Double, twin & single (en-suite or shared bath/shower room)& special "crew room", dormitory style. Large sun terrace with views of Palma harbour. 15 mins taxi from airport, 10 mins walk to central shopping... "This place has very clean and modern rooms with en suite bathrooms. The daily cleaning and towel changing were perfect—I have nothing to complain about. This is a good place to socialize and meet young (and not only Spanish) people. There is a breakfast buffet available for an extra 3.50 euros. The staff were very friendly, but not really able or willing to speak any other language but Spanish. The campus situated between Palma and Valldemossa, and is hard to reach by local bus, especially... "The breakfast is terrible; the price is great; it's close to the beach, which is beautiful; the area is a bit run-down, but safe; and it's quite crowded in the summer." … S'Arenal … A Hostelling International (HI) Hostel … Costa Brava, 13
