"Awful! - I have just spent two night in the "Bulgaru Hostel" in Kazan, Russia, the only hostel listed in all hostels website. I booked directly. it's not even a hostel. It's just a woman giving two rooms for rental. It's not located in the center at all, thirty or forty minutes by bus to the city center, and above all it's dirty! the bathroom and toilets are very dirty and the rooms it's dusty, like they have not cleaned for ages! I'm sure that it's not even legal, because as I said, it's a flat, not a registered hostel. It's just robbery...  more »

"… minute walk to the Kremlin. We are located in the old merchant house that was built about 100 years ago. We renovated the building in 2011. It is easy to find us because we are located in a separate building unlike most of the Russian hostels. We have 7 privates and 5 dorms, one common room and one kitchen, 2 separate shower rooms and 2 toilets on each floor. Before Soviet times the building belonged to a famous merchant family.
