"Great Traditional Hostel - Fantastic location, fantastic traditional YHA atmosphere, ideally suited to walking the 'Downs' and visiting the small but interesting town of Dorking. Sure the facilities are limited, but this is a rural hostel, you come here for the environment, not to party, nor for luxury. Dorking is a pleasant country town, some interesting older architecture, several antique shops, a museum, and a visitable winery. Boxhill on the Downs is a famous walking and tourist spot just north of the town. — Paul Trundley

This is a small country town with some history behind it that has some interesting architecture and several antique shops in West Street. It's located in a pleasant area of the countryside within easy distance of London, Worthing, and Brighton. Also not far from Motorways to north, east, and west. — Anonymous
