"Particulièrement amical, spacieux et nettoyer, le Willy Wallace que la pension est la seule pension du randonneur de Stirling. Elle a un excellent endroit au centre de Stirling promenade de 2 minutes de la station, dans un bâtiment victorien fleuri intéressant. Thé et café librement aux résidants - grand salon confortable et grande cuisine. Nouveau en 2000, le Willy Wallace établit déjà une réputation en tant qu'une des meilleures pensions de l'Ecosse. "Wish I'd Stayed Elsewhere - This hostel seemed to be out to extract as much money from their guests as possible. There were no lockers in the rooms. They had lockers on the ground floor where you could lock things up -- and run up and down the stairs every time you need something?! The large lockers were 6 GBP PER DAY! That's more than an extra $9 (U.S.) just to safely store your stuff in an inconvenient place. There was no wifi when I was there. If you're a Wallace fanatic like me and you enjoy history and especially Scotland's independence history, then go Stirling! The city itself doesn't have much to see but I recommend visiting the William Wallace Monument -- a tall tower in a very original style, where you can see a exposition of Wallace's life, his enormous sword, and audiovisuals. You climb the two hundred forty-six steps to the top of the tower and you have a nice view of the city and the fields. They give you a certificate you can show your friends when you go back home! In Stiring you can see the Castle too. When I was there (August 2006) it was being repaired, so I think now is the best moment to see its magnificence. — Sira
