"Closed when advertised as open - The hostel was advertising on-line that it had vacancies (colour green) for the next day. I was unable to book because of uncertainties about transport. When I arrived just before 5pm I found a notice on the door saying it was closed and here are the nearest hostels, but no information on how to get to them. This is unacceptable business practice. I am older and experienced and had money in my pocket and was able to get to another backpacker hostel (thoroughly enjoyable alternative), but what of the YHA's... more »
