"Really nice place to stay - The hostel is on the YMCA site and has free parking in their own car park which in Penzance is a real rarity, the car park is also covered by cctv which meant I could leave the surfboards in my van without worrying. The reception is manned 24/7 and so need to worry what time you get in but you do have to ring the bell if you are very late. Breakfast is basic but in with the price, they have free Wi-Fi which is a real bonus but you can also pay for some time on a computer at quite a reasonable rate they also have...  more »

"The only problem with this hostel is the location: It´s a bit of a bloody hike to get there from, or get to, Penzance´s bus station. The best bet is to get the bus to St. Ives, or any other bus that goes down the Promanade from the bus station, and then get off at Alexandra Road (the Alexandra hotel is about 10 meters up the road, it´s a good landmark to look out for), and then hike up the road until you get to the hostel.
