"THE best hostel I stayed at during my four months in New Zealand! My room was actually quite big, there's a bar onsite, and a huge hot tub/pool! "The Lakehouse Hotel is a ten-minute walk from the bus stop, but most bus drivers will let you off almost outside it if you ask them nicely. Although it is called a hotel, it has a couple of dorm rooms, most of the facilities a hostel does, and charges hostel prices.
