If you take bus 55 you need to walk uphill (Myrerskogveien) until you see the sign for the hostel. It's a good bit of exercise I'm afraid (especially the uphill part), and you will probably need a map to find the hostel. A better bet is to take...The Holtekilen Youth Hostel is located 8 km from the centre of Oslo, just off E18.
The hostel is situated in quiet and green surroundings with Holtekilen, a part of the Oslo Fjord, close by.
