Westport Auberge de Jeunesses  "The YHA Westport Hostel - Bazil's Backpackers is situated right in the centre of Westport in a purpose-built building with a specious garden and a porch with seating facilities. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and pubs are within five minutes' walking distance.
Rooms are spacious and bunk beds are provided with covers, pillows, and blankets. Rooms are equipped for heating. A lounge is furnished with cosy sofas and armchairs. There is a television, a DVD collection, books, and plenty of... "The Tripinn is without question the best backpackers in Westport. It's centrally located and easy to find, only a five-minute walk from the town's bus stop.
Originally a stately gentleman's residence built in the late 1860s, it is now protected under the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. It's still in great shape too, and very clean.
