Most of the sleeping accommodations are downstairs, although there are some rooms upstairs....![]() Punakaiki Beach Hostel is self catering backpacker style accommodation situated right on the beach. 300m to the Pancake Rocks and blowholes, this is a good starting point to all tracks into the Paparoa National Park.

But, despair not, the friendly owners of the hostel will pick you up from town upon arrangement and also drop you back in town.
