Rosarito is an awesome place to visit. Things have really turned around in a very short time. The sales people are a bit pushy, but what can you expect from a town that relies chiefly on tourists to survive? The food at the restaurants are great. The police are trying hard to keep the drugs off the streets. It is a town like any other town -- it has its share of ups and downs, but all in all it is a great place to visit, and maybe even to live in. I would live there! I love it there. — Anonymous
Rosarito is still safe. I've been there a few times this year and have come back happy every time. I love it! — Anonymous
Rosarito is a real cool place to visit as well as stay, and has a great nightlife even in the slow periods. The people are real friendly too. — Anonymous
I have always had a great time in Rosarito. I have not been there in seven years, but I plan to go next month. — vegas jim
Every time I've been there I have a blast. A hint for the tourist -- don't act like one and don't carry anything you don't want them to take from you. — tamara
This town is dead. It's owned by the drug lords. In January 2007, the army moved in to restore order. — Anonymous
Rosarito sucks! Everybody is after your money. Waiters don´t even say thank you when tip them. Police will hunt tourists, asking for bribes for no reason -- even the possession of rolling papers can get you in jail. This city is a nightmare -- the only city that is worse is Tijuana, don´t get me started! — Anonymous
Rosarito is a cool safe city with a crazy inexpensive nightlife. I hooked up with people at the hostel and had a blast! I ended up staying a coupleof months! — PETER
