"At the time of this review (January 2004), this place is only 6 months old and is not in any guidebooks. It's run by a Swiss-Malaccan couple Sona and Gabe, so already there's a different touch. "This place actually feels like a real home. It has some really nice touches. The rooftop area is one of them, it's kind of like a backyard patio at home in Australia but it's on the roof with wooden slabs with pot plants and sitting areas with a superb view over the rooftops of commercial Malacca to the historical centre.
