"Horrible Service/Unclean/Bug ridden - The Elderly Woman who runs the place is very unfriendly and not very helpful. The place had NOT been cleaned properly before the day I arrived, or during my stay -- there was scum build-up on the hand basins and on the bath edges. My rooms rubbish bin was not emptied -- not once in 3 days. That is just a small sample of 'unclean.' There are a multitude of bugs from large spiders to tiny mosquitos that frequent the hostel. A hostel guide for 2009 gave them a 4 flower rating but 2 is all I would give them... more »
