"You get what you pay for - Having been there when Martin and John looked after the place, I can say John does a better job at it. For €15 a night it did the job. Recommend people to get one of the small rooms: works out a bit dearer, but allows you to sleep better, as no-one will be turning the lights on when you're asleep (and leaving them on)." … "Being in Ireland and in the Carlow area I just had to check for myself if this Hostel was as truly bad as everybody described.
