Rooms were actually about 4 blocks from check-in desk, in what appears to be an old hotel obtained by the hostel. It's very easy to find on the southwest corner of the ring road. Use Erfurt West exit from the autobahn. Parking was a challenge. It's about a 2.5-mile walk from the central city sights. The staff spoke good English, several had attended school...The youth hostel is situated in an exclusive residential area in the south of Erfurt. Excellent transport links offer easy access to all the city?s attractions.
