The hostel is located 2 houses from Pablo Neruda´s home. Neruda bought this house in 1939 from an old spanish seafaring captain, but ultimately finnished building the house himself. It was his favorite house where he and his 3rd wife , Matilde Urrutia, spent most of their time while they lived in Chile.
