"I stayed in this "hotel" in November to early December 2004. They were undergoing renovations and putting in an Internet Cafe at the time. There are gaming machines and a bar attached, and it can be noisy on weekends. Beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious with en suite. The kitchen with laundry room, with a machine and sink, was clean and adequate. The lounge was pleasant, clean and airy; it faces the front street and Spirit of Tasmania terminal. "I Loved This Place! - I was so comfortable here that I doubled my stay. It was low season so the place was pretty empty. The rooms are nice and spacious with a big sink and mirror and the bathrooms were home-like. I felt like I was staying in a house rather than a hostel. It was a pleasure to take a shower every morning which is nice after using so many hostel facilities. Below is a great little cafe with lots of character, delicious food, and homemade desserts.
