It is very close by the launch for the Yellow Waters boat cruise, which is one of the highlights of the park. It is also centrally located to explore Obir and Jim Jim and Twin falls, the other major landmarks. The hostel has a great range of accommodations, from campsites to cabins. Although the budget twin rooms are a reasonable price considering the location, they really do feel "budget."... Walks and an amazing river cruise available from front door of hostel. Not a place for those wanting any luxury. I and my two children (daughter, fifteen, and son, seventeen) signed onto a three-day camping tour of Kakadu with Kakadu Dreams. Nez was our guide, and presented us with a fantastic view of this immense park. Camping is the only way to really grasp this incredible area.
