"This place was fantastic. Laid back with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The owner Paul has clearly got it right in the design and feel of the place. You can kick back and watch a DVD if you want a quiet night, and the place is very well positioned for going out of an evening (minimal uphill involved!). "Wonderful atmosphere, friendly people, poor breakfast - I stayed in a private room for about 8 days and it was noisy due to construction work going on next door and also from the late night party sounds emanating from downstairs. The bed was very comfortable and the linen and blankets decent. The en-suite bathroom was awful and the shower area leaked constantly into the toilet drain, so that the floor was always wet. "Refugio Cordillera is a delightful place to stay and feels like a "home away from home." It is a bit out of town, so you need to take the bus in the direction of Llao Llao (about 40 minutes from the center of Bariloche) to kilometer 18.6. "La Morada was one of the highlights of my visit. Tucked away from the bustle of Bariloche, La Morada sits high upon a mountain with breathtaking views and wonderful silence. The owners and staff are very kind and respectful of people's needs. Also, the facilities are immaculate. The kitchen is a great place if you love to cook and the bedrooms are spacious.
