I am from Mont Gambier and think it's one of the most beautiful places I've lived. It's humble and a place to relax and take in all the amazing scenery. So close to the sea, the vineyards, and the marvels of the volcanoes.
When you're in Adélaïde, do visit the Adelaide Hills -- really nice scenery and free wine tasting.
Sandy Creek Conservation Park is not accessible to the Barossa Valley Wineries if you don't have a car.
Port Vincent … It's a fantastic little town, very friendly place!
Île Kangourou … How pleasant -- awakening to the happy chattering of cockatiels, magpies, and honey-eaters. All day long, you can watch the blue wrens and honey-eaters. Rosellas put in an appearance every now and then also.
Wirrabara … I went there with my grandparents (W. Dansie) when I was 15, was their hometown. I want to come back when I have more time. Many good stories from early last century.
