• Houhai Youth hostel is one of the most mysterious and charming ancient houses, which are located at the HouHai historical culture preserved area in Beijing.
• We provide the following items and events free of charge: map of Beijing, tour of HuTong, tea drinking, Internet access, satellite TV & DVD access and usage of kitchen. We will also provide the necessary ingredients for you to learn to make Chinese Dumpling with our staff. You can also deposit your luggage at the Inn. We have English speaking personnel that will assist you in your stay here. If you have a car we can provide parking as well.
• This is one of the most mysterious and charming old-Beijing-style court yard Inn. It's a relic of history and culture, which is located in Sanbulao Hutong in HouHai historial culture preserved area of Beijing. It was one of the court yards which belonged to the villa of ZhengHe, the famous navigator in Ming Dynasty, who led numerous fleets to explore the oceans.
• With the ancient Chinese architect design, the Inn is installed with modern, comfortable, convient and safe facilites, in order to meet the needs of our clients. Here you can experience the life as a traditional Peking citizen while enjoying our high stardard and excellent service. All of our traditional rooms at the Inn are clean and quiet. The most unique Chinese wedding room is decorated in red, which is regarded as the color of happiness by Chinese people. Outside the rooms there is a traditional Chinese garden, with birds, fishes, flowers, and a hundred years old date tree. Experience a peaceful feeling sitting under the old date tree in the garden, enjoying a coffee, beer or tea.
• Not only can you have the experience of Chinese tea culture, but also get to know friends from all over the world. Besides the Great Wall and Forbidden City which you are familiar with, we will also show you modern music, dramas, art galleries and clubs. We offer very competitive prices starting at only $7 for a bed in a shared room, to rooms that costs $15 and upwards.
• Outside the Inn, you may meet the warm-hearted and friendly local people in the Sanbulao Hutong, as well as being able to taste traditional snacks. Nearby you will find groceries, post-office and banks.
• The nearest sightseeing place is the Houhai Lake, with its streets of night bars. The Beihai Park, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Wangfujing shopping center, the former house of Meilanfang and other sightseeing places are all close to the Inn. There are more than 20 bus lines near the Inn. The subway station is within 9 minutes walk.

• From the airport, take shuttle bus Line 2 to the last stop- Xidan Aviation Building ( shuttle bus terminal ). Get bus No 22 just in front of the Aviation Building beside the main street and get off at Xinjiekou stop (should be the 5th Stop). After you get off Bus 22, continue in the same direction until you see Hangkong Hutong on you right. Turn onto this Hutong and go straight. It becomes Sanbulao Hutong keep walking on your left and look for number 14,our hostel.
• From Beijing Railway Station (Beijing Zhan), take subway 2 line and get off at Jishuitan stop, then get bus No 22 and get off xinjiekou stop. My hostel is in the opposite Hutong. You should find out Hangkong Hutong Walk straight. It become Sanbulao Hutong. Keep walking on you left and look for 14.our hostel.
• Or you can take bust No 808 from Beijing Central Railway Station. After you get off Bus 808, continue in the same direction until you see Hutong on you right. Turn onto this Hutong and go straight. It becomes Sanbulao Hutong keep walking on your left and look for number 14,our hostel.
• From Beijing West Railway Station, take bus No 47 and get off at XinJieKou, walk back about 100 meters, find Hangkong Hutong on you right hand Turn onto this Hutong and go straight. It becomes Sanbulao Hutong keep walking on your left and look for number 14,our hostel.
• If you take a taxi from Xidan Aviation Building to my hostel, the cost will be around 13-20 yuan. You can tell taxi driver:请你带我去"北京西城区德胜门内大街三不老胡同十四号"
• From airport, by taxi about 120yuan..
• If you wish to take taxi to the hostel, don't use the service desks in the lobby of the airport or those offer you a ride to the city center because most they are always ready to rip you off more than 300 RMB by putting you onto their private car without taxi licence.
• From the airport to the hostel it never costs more than 120 RMB.You can just get one from in front of the building of the airport lobby.Please use licenced taxi for more reliable service.
