This house began as a small home for a bunch locals and the occasional foreign student. Walls filled with psychedelic paintings, a common room full of jembes and guitars. Scratchy Beatles and Pink Floyd L.P.'s playing on an old soviet record player. With more and more visiting guests the house became a hostel. A hostel with No Name.
A great home for the real traveler. We provide free internet, a light breakfast, fresh sheets, towels, blankets and pillows. We want you to have the best stay possible in Old Town for as little expense to you. You can book for cheap bike and walking tours and this is also the only hostel in Tallinn where you can enjoy free water pipe and chill on the top of an Old Town roof!
Music is a big part of Estonian culture and you should be aware that you might be in for a concert as locals and travellers jam in the common room singing to the midnight sun. We would love you to sing along, smoke along, drink along, or just enjoy a long stay with us. You're welcome.

Avoid! This place is very poor, dirty, unsecure, and little more than a squatters house run by drifters. We were convinced to stay in the hostel by two travelers that we met along the way who had made reservations prior to their arrival in Tallin. A phone call was made and beds were confirmed for our group. When we arrived the only member of staff there had forgotten about four men that had checked into the place before he went out and had overbooked by four people. Due to the hour we had nowhere else to go and resorted to the following, two of our group doubled up in one bed, two male members of the group had to sleep on the sofas, and one guy had to sleep on the floor in the communal room. Regardless of this we were all charged full price and could not check out until 1 p.m. when the (incompetent) only staff member returned from his day out. Additionally there is only one shower for the entire hostel with no hot water and two toilets. the wiring would never meet health standard with plugs hanging off the walls above the beds. All i can say is we checked out ASAP and went to a hostel close by in an equally good location and for almost the same price. Here we got a decent shower and a good nights sleep without fear of people walking into the hostel and into our rooms. Avoid it at all costs! — unimpressed, England (2008-04-21)
