Central Park Hostel

New York's newest Hostel is located on the Upper West side of Manhattan. In it's newly renovated classic brownstone building, this 5-story walk-up features colorful, sunny dorm style rooms with 4, 6 or 8 beds per room (plus air conditioning). Private 2-bed rooms are also available. All rooms share bright, clean bathroom facilities. Linens and blankets are included, plus lockers are supplied for your security - don't forget your padlock.

Manhattan Valley, the northern part of the Upper West Side, is not yet as yuppified as the blocks below 96th Street. It's quite ethnically diverse and offers many local shops and eateries. You can make Central Park you very own NYC backyard or walk a couple of blocks over to Broadway and stroll with you new neighbors. The Cathedral of St John the Divine and Columbia University are within walking distance, with City College and the sights of Harlem just a bit further north. The subway that is almost on the hostel's doorstep can whisk you to the heart of Midtown in a matter of moments"
