Go2Hostel

• Go2hostel is located just 10 minutes away from our main international airport in a typical Costa Rican town called San Joaquin de Flores, closed to Alajuela. It is a very safe and quiet town, with local restaurants, drug stores, bakery, video stores and banks. You can walk from the hostel to the main street where you can locate all these shops as well as the beautiful colonial church, over 100 years old and the "plaza", soccer field right across. Our hostel is minutes away from a main supermarket (Megasuper) and Hipermas (similar to a Kmart in the US). It is also close to Heredia downtown and also Alajuela, two of the main towns you go through on your way to tourist attractions such as the Poas volcano, the famous La Paz (Peace) Waterfall or well known Britt and Doka coffee tours.
• Our two-story property holds a total of 11 rooms, a combination of hostel and bed and breakfast type. We have group rooms with private and shared bathrooms, all with hot water. We also offer 5 private bedrooms with their own bathroom. Our rate includes continental breakfast and the kitchen is available for our guests to prepare lunch and/or dinner. Some of the local restaurants do deliver (pizza/chicken). Cable TV is available in the entertainment area as well as table tennis. The weather in the town where we are located is usually warm and cool at nights. Rainy season in Costa Rica starts around May through November, a raincoat or raincoat is suggested if you travel during this time. Dry season (our summer) is from early December to April.
• If driving: Head east from the airport, make a left on the first set of traffic lights, go straight and then immediately make a right going east. Keep going east on the main road (Calle Real). You will pass the main rent a car sites, continue east and you will see Florida Ice & Farm, Lovable, Megasuper (left) until you get to a traffic light across Musmani Bakery (on your right hand side). Make a left there and go straight (north) two blocks, you will find a stop sign, continue straight pass in front of town's elementary school, (during weekdays from 7 am to 5pm the street in front of the school is closed for security purposes, should you find this, go left one block, turn right another block, and right again to the stop sign. Make a left and you will be back on the main road and follow the next directions) Continue two more blocks and make a left (you will see a sign of Llantas =Tires repaired and a sign Hacienda Las Flores). After turning left here, continue straight about the equivalent to 6 blocks. Our hostel is on the left hand side. A sign of Go2hostel is hanging from roof of driveway.
• If taking a taxi: Tell the drive 200 mts Norte y 600 Oeste de la Escuela EE.UU. en San Joaquín de Flores, Heredia (200 mts North and 600 mts West from the elementary school in San Joaquin de Flores, Heredia). Taxis shouldn't charge more than US$7.00 from the airport to our hostel. If a taxi driver tells you we are booked or closed, please check with us. Sometimes they will let you borrow their cellular phone, calls us first before letting the cab driver take you somewhere else.
